Tattoo

Here at Bodyworks tattoos we take great pride in delivering a quality tattoo. Our goal is to provide you with a tattoo that you can wear proudly for the rest of your life. We take pride in delivering a clean and sterile environment to our valued customers that prioritizes the guidelines of the Health Department.

All tattoo needles used on a client are brand new in their package and opened for the customer prior to beginning the session. All needles and materials such as ink, ink cups, gloves etc. are subject to one time uses and are disposed once the tattoo session is complete.

If you’re looking to get a tattoo but are unsure of the procedure follow the simple steps listed below:

Consultations

Free consultations give you the opportunity to have a sit down with an artist and plan out your whole tattoo design. The artist will go over your idea with you and provide you with their input. Things such as size, detail and placement are some things that are discussed at the consultation, then once both you and the artist decide that you like the idea you can go ahead and book your tattoo appointment.

Please note: The artist will not begin sketching/designing the piece unless a tattoo appointment has been booked.

Booking a Tattoo Appointment

Once you have decided on your tattoo artist and tattoo design you will be ready to book a tattoo appointment. A deposit is required in order to book a tattoo session. The deposit sum varies depending on the size of your piece and goes towards the final price of your tattoo.

Preparing for your Tattoo session

It is important that you prepare for your tattoo session. For big tattoo pieces it is recommended that you get a good night’s rest prior to your tattoo session and that you eat a hearty meal before coming in for the tattoo. This will help the session proceed smoothly.

Tattoo Aftercare

Once the tattoo is completed you will be given instructions on how to take care of your new piece. Tattoos generally take about 2 weeks to heal depending on the person. It is very important that you take care of your tattoo during the healing process to avoid any fading, missing spots or infection. If you have any questions or concerns we are always here to help.
